What We Choose Giclée Printing?
We believe that meaningful artwork deserves exceptional craftsmanship.
That’s why every Wilson Design Collective print is produced using the giclée printing process, the highest standard of fine art printing available.
Derived from the French word meaning “to spray,” giclée uses archival pigment inks and exceptional colour accuracy to faithfully capture every torn paper edge, painted texture and delicate detail within our original collages.
When paired with museum-quality archival paper, these prints are designed to remain beautifully vibrant for generations—often lasting well over 100 years when properly cared for.

The Paper

Every print is produced on beautifully textured 315gsm natural white fine art paper, carefully chosen for its exceptional quality and timeless appearance.
The gently textured surface enhances the depth of our collages, allowing every layer, brushstroke and paper edge to be faithfully reproduced.
As an FSC® certified paper, it also reflects our commitment to thoughtful, responsible craftsmanship.

Looking After Your Print
Handle with care
Your print is produced on premium fine art paper, so we recommend handling it with clean, dry hands (or cotton gloves where possible). Taking a little extra care helps preserve its beautiful finish.
Allow rolled prints to rest
If your artwork arrives rolled, gently unroll it onto a clean surface with the artwork facing down. Place a few clean books on the reverse for 24–48 hours to help it naturally relax before framing.
Choose the right place
Although our archival prints are made to last, we recommend displaying them away from prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve their beautiful colours for generations to come.
Framing
Advice
A frame does more than complete an artwork—it protects it and helps it become part of your home.
We offer a carefully selected range of oak, white and black frames, chosen for their timeless simplicity and ability to complement rather than compete with the artwork.
If you’re arranging your own framing, we recommend using a professional framer. Our larger prints have been thoughtfully designed with generous borders, meaning a separate mount is often unnecessary.
A Note On Mounting
Fine art giclée prints are designed to remain archival for many decades.
To help preserve this longevity, we recommend avoiding permanent adhesives such as glue, spray mount or tape, as these can affect the paper over time.
If you choose to mount your print, it’s entirely your decision, but we’d always recommend discussing archival mounting methods with your professional framer.
