Hi, we are Caroline & Louise, born as twins, bonded as sisters and shaped by our love of textile design.
We've created Wilson Design Collective to craft art that tells stories, that reach beyond words.

That's why we create art.

Why 'Collective' Matters to Us
Wilson is our shared maiden name- a nod to our roots, our family, and the creative bond we've shared since childhood. And Design speaks to our background as trained textile designers, where a love of pattern, texture, and storytelling first took hold.
Our process is rooted in the art of collage collecting stories, materials, memories and meaning and crafting them into something entirely new.
We are proud gatherers at heart, hoarders of beauty, snippers of sentiment and seekers of forgotten treasures.
Old papers, handwritten notes, vintage fabric scraps, even snippets of dictionary pages they all find a place in our work. Each element we use carries its own history and together they tell yours.
Sustainability is woven into everything we do. We work consciously using recycled and repurposed materials wherever possible, not just because it's responsible, but because it adds to the soul.
These materials hold echoes of the past, adding texture and resonance to every piece we create.

Rooted in Textiles, Grown Through Storytelling
Our journey began in the world of textile design, where pattern, colour and texture were not just tools but a way of life.
With a shared background in printed textiles and experience designing for some of the UK's leading furnishing brands, our love for surface design runs deep.
Nature has always been our greatest muse, offering comfort, calm and endless inspiration.
In fact, creativity has been a form of healing for us, a medicine of sorts.
During difficult times the act of making, creating and imagining gave us purpose, strength and joy. Our venture as sisters is built on this belief: that art can uplift, connect and tell stories that matter.
Now, through Wilson Design Collective, we bring those values into every project, whether it's a heartfelt commission for a home, a bespoke mural in a commercial space, or a print collection filled with personality.
We don't just make art, we craft stories, rooted in experience, woven with love, and designed to connect.

Meet Caroline in Louise's words.....

Away from the studio, Caroline thrives on balance. She's a devoted mum who finds peace and joy in long countryside walks just beyond her doorstep.
Her love for nature, health, and wellbeing- specially gut health, is a grounding part of who she is.

With years of experience as a textile designer for leading UK brands, she has a keen eye for trends and an exquisite sense of colour.
Whether it's a pattern for a statement print or a quiet thoughtful motif, Louise is always thinking one step ahead, combining creativity with commercial flair to make every design not just beautiful but meaningful and desirable.
Away from the drawing board, Louise is a proud wife and Mum to two lovely daughters, plus her loyal four legged friend, who never strays far from her feet while she works.
Life at home is full of laughter, countryside walks, family adventures and evenings spent entertaining around a table filled with good food and stories.
