The Process
At Wilson Design Collective, creativity always starts with a little bit of treasure hunting.
Much like magpies, we're drawn to beautiful, forgotten papers-old books, worn textures, discarded archives and prints-little pieces of history we can't resist saving.
We breathe new life into these materials, carefully up cycling them into intricate, handcrafted collages.
Every texture, every snippet of colour, every dictionary definition we collect adds another layer of meaning to our work.
Through an intuitive process of layering and storytelling, we let the pieces 'dance' together-building artworks that feel alive with movement, spirit, and character.
Each collage is a true labour of love, thoughtfully constructed to capture the heart and soul of the subject.
